Privacy Policy

Awn is a private assistant made by NGX. This policy explains what information Awn uses, why, and how you can ask for it to be deleted. If you have questions, email hello@awn.com.im.
What Awn uses
- Microsoft 365 data that the account owner connects: email, calendar events and the installment spreadsheet. Awn reads these to sort email, prepare reply drafts, suggest calendar changes and send reminders.
- WhatsApp messages between the owner and Awn's business number, along with the phone number they come from. These are used to send reports and reminders and to answer the owner's requests.
- Basic account details such as name, email address and language preference.
What Awn does not do
- Awn never sends email on anyone's behalf.
- Awn never deletes your email, events or files.
- Calendar changes are made only after the owner confirms each one.
- We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Who processes the data
- Hetzner hosts Awn's servers in the European Union.
- Microsoft provides the email, calendar and file data through Microsoft Graph.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) delivers WhatsApp messages.
- Anthropic provides the AI model that reads and writes text for Awn. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
How long data is kept
Data is kept only as long as the owner's account is active and is needed for the features above. Access tokens are stored encrypted. When an account is closed, its data is deleted within 30 days, except encrypted backups, which expire within a further 30 days.
Data deletion
To delete your data, email hello@awn.com.im with the subject "Delete my data" from the email address or phone number linked to your account. We will confirm and delete it within 30 days. You can also disconnect Awn at any time from your Microsoft account settings or by blocking Awn's WhatsApp number.
Security
Connections use HTTPS, stored credentials are encrypted and only the account owner can sign in.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated.
